Easy peasy wispy!

Super duper easy wispy map!

I think at the best of times, lashing has its own set of challenges then you throw wispys into the mix and it feels like you’re trying to drink soup with a fork… not great! HOWEVER, I am here (bearer of good news, might I add) to tell you that wispys are far from a daunting task and in fact a technically easy set to achieve. Believe me when I say this, classics (in my opinion) are one of the most challenging sets to execute but we will get on that another time.

So, how do you ace a wispy set every time? Three simple rules: 1. Always map 2. Place the spikes first on the middle/top layer and 3. Maintain a length difference of 2-4mm between the spikes and the base (so for example if your spike is 16mm, your base or shorter fan should be 13m and less). There’s actually a 4 rule, which is often overlooked and that is to regularly check our work with a lash mirror, this helps you gage if your set is coming together nicely, spikes are standing out and there is symmetry between both eyes. Now, pick up those tweezers and I’ve said this time and time again to my students, ‘practise until you can’t get it wrong!’

Using all Swish products including our fluffy range of volumes lashes in D curl/0.05, fibre tip tweezers, Here to Stay adhesive and super bonder for maximum retention. Use code: NEW10 for 10% off your order!
